Parbhani, is a registered voluntary organization committed to the upliftment and empowerment of the underprivileged and vulnerable sections of society. Since its inception in 2013, the organization has focused on supporting distressed individuals, especially women, children, and economically backward communities.

About Us
Omkareshwar Gramin Vikas Pratisthan, Karegaon (Tq. & Dist. Parbhani), with its office at Shrihari Nagar, Near Sant Tukaram College, Basmat Road, Parbhani, is a registered society dedicated to the holistic development of rural and urban communities. Its objectives include establishing and running educational institutions from Balwadi to colleges, hostels, technical and medical colleges, and libraries to promote literacy. The society focuses on women empowerment through training centres, tailoring, home-based businesses, and access to government schemes. It also promotes sports and culture by providing grounds, gymnasiums, drama, music, and art schools, and organizing cultural programs. In public service, it works towards healthcare by setting up hospitals, blood banks, orphanages, old-age homes, and welfare centres. The society supports differently abled persons by running special schools and hostels, while also working for widows, divorced, and orphan women by addressing issues like dowry, exploitation, and addiction, and by linking them to welfare schemes. It provides educational aid to poor and deserving students, engages in disaster relief, and promotes agricultural technology, plantation, social forestry, watershed development, and environmental balance. The establishment of Mahila Kendras, awareness on national integration, brotherhood, and secularism, along with group marriages and anti-dowry campaigns, further highlight its commitment to social and cultural welfare.
